Aloha friends,
My latest painting, “Washed In: Peace,” is here! It’s Part II of the Washed In series, a collection of paintings in a therapeutic response to our recent traumatic world events. This painting started out with the word, anxiety, and I gradually washed it away with alcohol and paint, transforming it into a more serene feel.
God actually brought me a lot of freedom from anxiety through the process of painting this, and my prayer is that he will do the same for you! There is a lot of prayer and worship involved in this painting.
The photo reference is by photographer and Etsy shop, CarolynCochrane. https://www.etsy.com/listing/96753462/beach-photography-ocean-photograph-aqua?ref=shop_home_active_53&crt=1 I decided to add some bubbles to give it texture and also to reinforce the washed in theme.
This listing is for the original painting measuring 40” x 60” on a high quality wood panel.
Mahalo!
