This is an original painting I hand painted titled, “Peach and Present.” I painted it by hand, allowing unexpected mark-making, yet a very realistic representation of these peach orchids. I originally took the photo reference for this painting in the garden on the south side of Kauai, at the Prince Kuhio condos. The colors are very soothing and harmonious, and the background is playful.
It brings a sense of beauty, refreshment, and peace. If you love orchids or have a hard time growing them, this is a great solution to have orchids around your home or office, and it can fit most anywhere.
It is ready to hang as-is with the hardware I attached to the back, or can be framed at a shop of your choice. I have also signed it and painted the sides. It measures 5”x7.”
